CAN JAUME ANTONI CULTURE CENTRE

After the many efforts by the Santanyí Town Hall to change the location of the culture centre, Can Jaume Antoni opened its doors on 19 March 2004 with a collective exhibition by all the local painters and sculptors who wanted to take part in it.  

The centre is located in carrer Portell, 11. It is 100 metres away from Plaça Major. It is a typical stately house with a magnificent courtyard. The goal of the new culture centre of Can Jaume Antoni is to be a platform for local artists who want to show their work to the people of Santanyí and visitors from other parts of Mallorca and the world.  

The Department of Education and Culture of the Santanyí Town Hall is located in Can Jaume Antoni. Our aim is to coordinate all the activities related to the department from our headquarters at the culture centre.
