On 12 June the LA21 office presented the “Santanyí Sostenible” campaign focusing on WASTE. The second part of the campaign is remarkable for the efforts undertaken by the Town Hall, the Municipal Waste Management Company and FOCSA for having extended the opening hours of the Green Parks of Cala d’Or and Santanyí and adding a new citizen hotline for questions on collection hours, collection of bulky waste and the separation of waste to recycle .

On this occasion information leaflets in four languages, posters and a fridge magnet have been produced so that everybody has the information to hand in order maintain the municipality clean and avoid problems for other citizens.

For the information to reach all the houses of the municipality the leaflets, magnets and a summary of the new road cleaning and door-to-door collection ordinance have been distributed among all the houses in the town of Santanyí.
